Dry Full-Body Red wine – MID LEVEL CURRENT VINTAGE: 2016
Paradis de Qanafar is our mid-level, full-bodied red wine made solely with our own grapes. On the nose in exhibits earthy notes of dark chocolate and ripe plums, while the palate reveals a fruity and spicy character. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels giving its well-rounded fruitiness a touch of oak character.
Paradis de Qanafar 2016: 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Syrah, 6% Merlot
Note: The blend usually consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. The blend varies from year-to-year depending on what the owners believe will produce the highest quality wine possible. Not necessarily all 3 varietals are found. The percentage of the varietals also varies from year to year.
MATURING: 100% of the wine is aged in 225L French oak barrels for 12 months
SERVING TEMPERATURE: Best served at 16-18°C after decanting for one hour
AGING: Ideal for immediate enjoyment and aging of at least 15+ years depending on storage conditions.
FOOD PAIRING: Pairs well with rich grilled meats, peppery sauces, dishes with high flavor, Middle-Eastern dishes & Game meats.
