Jellab syrup (jallab) is a traditional Middle Eastern drink made from date molasses or carob molasses. The syrup is diluted with cold water or milk and then flavoured with rose or orange blossom water. 

Jallab  is a type of fruit syrup popular in the Middle East made from carob, dates, grape molasses and rose water. Jallab is very popular in Lebanon. It is made mainly of grape molasses, grenadine syrup, and rose water, then smoked with Arabic incense.
